Images and alternative titles corrections

Hi, Please find here below several contributions I made that were declined and I do not understand why: 1- Image deletion - Mirage (2018): I added a poster on the movie Mirage and my contribution was accepted: https://contribute.imdb.com/contribution/250529-195624-930202 But I realized after that an identical poster (exactly the same) already existed on this IMDb page with the same attributes (French/France): https://m.imdb.com/fr/title/tt6908274/mediaviewer/rm4068762368 So, I created a removal contribution for my poster (for duplication), but it was inexplicably declined: https://contribute.imdb.com/contribution/250529-210421-756602 As I just ask to remove a poster I added on IMDb (rm3508241666), please accept it. 2- L’heure D - Aaron Appelfeld (2016): I first added an image in 2021 : https://contribute.imdb.com/contribution/211006-182214-959502 This 2021 image is now present on 2 pages (episode page and main tv show page): https://m.imdb.com/fr/title/tt6016332/mediaviewer/rm3839227649 In 2025, I found the same image, but with a better quality, so I added it on the 2 same pages (using a format I prefer): https://contribute.imdb.com/contribution/250529-195532-833802 https://contribute.imdb.com/contribution/250529-201448-252002 It created a duplication, so I asked to remove the 2021 image on the 2 pages: https://contribute.imdb.com/contribution/250529-202323-447302 https://contribute.imdb.com/contribution/250529-200659-010202 As I want to keep the 2025 image, please either remove from IMDb the 2021 image (rm3839227649) or break the links of this image on the 2 pages it is currently displayed (to avoid a duplication). 3- Alternative title correction - Mirage (2018): Here is my contribution: https://contribute.imdb.com/contribution/250529-203946-268000 The correct French title in Quebec is « Mirage », so I wanted to change from « alternative title » to « IMDb display title ». I joined evidence in my contribution. 4- Alternative title correction - Les biches (1968): Here is my contribution: https://contribute.imdb.com/contribution/250529-192938-805000 It’s about the problem of alternative titles without country associated that are then badly displayed on IMDb. Hello Sebastien I have removed the duplicate images from the contributions. Regarding submission number 3, according to our Guidelines: We use the original title of a movie/show in its original language as it appears on screen (on the title card) in the opening credits. The title was first screened in Spain, Barcelona, the current title is how it was released on screen, therefore your contribution was rejected. Submission number 4, we do not remove valid Alternative titles and this kind of old titles don't require a Country to be mandatory.

Hi Fran, I do not understand your answer for contribution number 3. The guideline you gave is for the primary title of the movie. It has indeed to be the original title of the movie in its original language (as used during the first screening in its country of origin). But here I talk about secondary display titles used in different countries (AKAs title on IMDb). In my case, it is for French Canada (Quebec). This movie has currently on IMDb no « IMDb display title » for French Canada (only 2 alternative titles). So, what is the « current title » you talk about for French Canada? You have to put 1 « IMDb display title » in French Canada for this movie (either 1 of the 2 current alternative titles or something else).

For submission number 4, no problem to keep AKA titles without country, but their current display on IMDb is bad. Alternative titles without country appear at the top of alternative titles (top of AKA titles), just before the original title (app) or just under the original title (web). You should put them at the bottom of alternative titles (bottom of AKA titles).
