Solved

Images are not appearing and dates are incorrect

Pictures that I added for the episode are not appearing although I did receive a photo submission receipt on an email confirming that my image is submitted.

Also, dates are shown incorrectly in the episode list but when clicked on the episode it shows the correct date.

Kindly guide me regarding this glitch.

Hi jazzykhalid-

Can you post the 18-digit submission reference number for this images contribution? This way our staff can take a further look for you.

Cheers!

@jazzykhalid Thank you for posting! I can see this images are approved, however, they are not appearing on the respective titles. There is currently a known issue that is already being investigated by the appropiate team referenced on this main post.

@jazzykhalid Hi again-

I can confirm the issue of the disappering images is now resolved, can you confirm if you are now seeing the rest of the images you had submitted?

I double-check the ones you provided above and those are already live on the site.

Cheers!

Sorry to piggyback on your post @jazzykhalid but it sounds like we are experiencing exactly the same issues.

Images I’ve uploaded over the last few days have disappeared - but also the episode release dates for two different television series I’ve been working on are all showing as a day out on the mobile web - possibly desktop too - but not on the app, and only on the episode list page. When clicking and viewing the episode page itself, or when opening the editor, the dates are correct. For example, an episode screened and submitted as 22 September 1990 shows as 21 September 1990 on the episode list on the mobile web, but the correct date on the episode page and in the editor.

Examples:

tt0821873

tt32085850

I’ve just checked another TV series at random, which I haven’t worked on recently, and this has the same issues:

tt0074077

This seems to be a site-wide problem, but I don’t know if it’s affecting all users.

@CaptainSiCo and jazzykhalid Hi again-

As per the images dissapearing, there is an open ticket report that is already being investigated by the appropiate team. Any updates on this issue will be reference on this main post.

I've also forwarded this other issue information on the release dates display for series to the appropriate team for further investigation (Ref Ticket #V1600703634). We'll reply once we receive further information.

Cheers!

Thanks Maya.

It may be relevant that images I “untagged” from certain episodes, as they weren’t correct, have reappeared at the same time as the newly added images disappeared. It’s as if a “rollback” has occurred.

I don’t have the reference numbers but these are two of the episodes concerned:

tt4464384/?ref_=ttep_ep2 (Ep 1.2)

tt4464384/?ref_=ttep_ep3 (Ep 1.3)

Thanks.

Hi all,

This update is in reference to the episode release date issue only:

I can confirm that this issue is now fixed, with the "All Episode" pages now showing the correct Release Dates again.

Any investigation into the image(s) issue is still ongoing.

I hope this helps!

Thanks. Both issues appear to have been sorted - for me, anyway.
