Impossible to prove a negative: How to get credit removed?

I have been working on the credits of costume designer John Bloomfield (The Mummy & more). He has an acting credit on IMDB for appearing in one episode of Casualty - which is not correct. When I started, there were many erroneous acting credits on the page, which have been removed, but this one last one will not be approved. How can I "prove" that he did not act in Casualty? For more information, I conducted an oral history with Mr Bloomfield and he assured me that he has never done any acting work!

Hi filmcostume, thank you for your problem report. In this case, the acting credits were mistakenly added to costume designer John Bloomfield's IMDb page, likely due to the name being fairly common. I've therefore merged the remaining actor credit to the appropriate IMDb page, as previously done with the other acting credits by our editors. The reason for this particular submission of yours being declined, is because you were attempting to delete factual information, which is against our guidelines. The correct contribution to make in this circumstance, is to submit a correction to move the credit to the actor John Bloomfield's page (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm17010993/). -- The merge updates should appear live across all IMDb platforms shortly. I hope this helps!
