Incorrect birth information

Good morning,

I have noticed that the date of birth for my Great Uncle, Bruce Wightman (McCombe), is incorrect. It states he was born on the 5th of March 1925. He was actually born on the 8th of March 1925.

He died on the 8th of January 2009.

He died in Yeppoon, Queensland,  Australia, and is buried in the Emu Park Cemetery,  Emu Park, Queensland, Australia.

If someone was able to fix the typo, I'd be very greatful.

Hi EMcCombe-

You are welcome to submit a birthdate correction through our online Update form.

Something important to note is that when submitting birthdate corrections, you will be required to linked supporting evidence in order to verify the changes.

For birthdates, we are looking for links to public records, printed publications, or official documents (driver's license, birth certificates, passports). We do not accept evidence from unverifiable sources. For example, Wikipedia or any collaboratively edited wiki-style sites unless these include online citations and external links which provide supporting evidence of the birth date.

For more detailed information on how to correct existing data, I encourage you to review our following Help Guide. You can also review this other Help Guide on birthdates and on the acceptable evidence we require.

Cheers!

@Maya thank you.

I don't have access to his birth or death certificate.  All I have is a photograph of his headstone. My Grandmother only recently told me that he was buried in the Emu Park Cemetery, so I went and found him on the way home yesterday.
