Incorrect End Date Showing for TV Series

The end date of the TV series “All the Rivers Run” [tt0086663] is currently showing as 1990. This is incorrect - the series was released in its entirety in 1983, in Australia. A sequel “All the Rivers Run II” [tt12312522] was released in 1990, but this has its own title page on IMDb, so its release date should not affect the entry for the original series. Please can this be amended? Another issue with this title is that a release date of 10 October 1983 is showing *at series level* which is not correct, as the series was first shown on 4 October 1983 in Melbourne, and both this date and the later Sydney transmission date appear under Episode 1.1. The later date was probably entered when the page was created, before episodes were added to it. Can this be deleted please as it is misleading, and unnecessary? Many thanks CaptainSiCo ✈️

Hello CaptainSiCo, The problem with the end date is that chapters 1 and 4 have a Release date from other years, therefore the corrections for the correct release date must be submitted using the online Update Form. Once you submit the corrections the end year will automatically change. For the series level Release dates, I can see that your submissions were already approved. The changes will be live shortly!

Hi Fran I’m a little confused here. Yes, episodes 1 and 4 do show later release dates for other countries (as do all the other episodes in the series), but they clearly show the original release dates in Australia too. If a film or TV series is subsequently sold to another country and release there, it doesn’t and shouldn’t change the original release date in the country of origin/production. Furthermore, the year 1990 is not mentioned anywhere - the latest date I can see is for a 1988 release in Hungary. It’s possible the issue may be related - at least partly - to the problem I have explained in this thread: https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/data-issues-policy-discussions/issue-with-incorrect-release-dates-on-tv-episodes/6839ae4713f03f4b7ea7ac60 Please clarify. Many thanks CaptainSiCo ✈️

@CaptainSiCo- The end year for this seris has been corrected. As per the release of 10 of October 1893 and what you reported above, this is being followed on the other thread. We will reply once we have further information on the matter.
