Solved

Incorrect Trivia Info

From what I've seen, it appears nigh impossible to correct a wrong item because the wrong info stays there despite correcting it. Now you've got two items when there should only be one. Why does that happen? This occurred when I was researching the date Kathleen Nolan was injured in a fall from a horse in "The Real McCoys". Two different dates in the trivia section, the wrong one and my fully researched date. As a simple example, if someone writes a trivia item about the town drunk in "The Andy Griffith Show" calling him Floyd Lawson and I write something about the same piece of trivia but with the correct name, Otis Campbell, why in the world would IMDB keep both items? It creates nothing but confusion amongst IMDB readers. My specific concern this time is a WARNING: SPOILERS item under the first episode of the TV western, "Lawman".

Hi stevetrivia- Thank you for reporting! Further reviewing this spoilers trivia on the first episode of "Lawman," can you confirm if the correct one is only the first sentence part for this episode? Cheers!

The first sentence should read, Johnny McKay gets the job of deputy by shooting Lee Van Cleef, protecting Marshal Troop while he is engaged in a gunfight with Jack Elam. The second sentence is OK as written. In addition to the correction of the actors involved, Dan Troop was a marshal, not a sheriff.

Thank you, Maya! It's always nice to correct inaccuracies and, in doing so, making IMDB a source that people can rely upon.
