Location suggestions

@Maya​ It's been a year, any update on this fixing this issue?

This is something I also struggle with very often.

Example from today:

Wanting to add the Opera house in Oslo, Norway, (there is only one)

If I search for:

opera, oslo, norway - I don't fint it

opera norway - i dont find it (it suggest the opera in Australia thou...)

opera oslo  - i dont find it

I then have to go to the front page instead - advanced search - expand all - page topic- click on location "box" - select location in dropdown - "opera oslo" see result - select  the movie "tenet" - scroll down to locations -  see all - copy the exact location:

"Oslo Opera House, Oslo, Norway"  

and only now do i find it...

Regular/new users will never know how to do this....

Why is the location search in "advanced search" better than the search in "adding location"?

Problem is also that since the search is so bad, new locations are being made for the same place instead of using the existing ones, and that leads to not being able to click on a location and see all the productions that are filmed there.

because clicking on the existing location:

The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet, Oslo, Norway

gives more hitts than

Oslo Opera House, Oslo, Norway

And I find none of them if I search in adding location on "opera, oslo, norway"
