merged title

Hello, there are separate pages for each episode of this (tt32145752) TV series. These need to be merged.

for example; tt0499593, tt0934533, tt1795050 etc...

Hi @yusufpiskin -

Can you confirm how these titles were released?  Were they released as episodes under the A Ghost Story for Christmas TV Series, or were these titles first released as standalone specials?

Hi, Michelle

This is the wiki page about the this series, By the way, some episodes will be re-released in the US by SHUTTER in the coming days, but the truth is this is a cult BBC series.

Hi @yusufpiskin -

Thanks for the additional information.  I filed a ticket (#V1618596324) for the appropriate team to investigate the duplicate listings further and best determine how to list them.  Once we have an update we will let you know here.

Cheers!

Since 2005, the BBC has shown sporadic Christmas time ghost stories under the banner of 'A Ghost Story for Christmas'. There have been 10 since 2005. The TV series (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt32138566/reference/) lists all these episodes as TV episodes, with the first episode being S1E1 (2005) and the latest being S10,E1 (2024). There is never more than 1 episode a "season."

The issue is that the first nine episodes are also listed as separate "TV Movies". These include:

"Lot No. 249" (2023) (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt29549775/reference/)

"Count Magnus" (2022) (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt24881200/reference/)

"The Mezzotint" (2021) (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13796560/reference/)

"Martin's Close" (2019) (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10851684/reference/)

"The Dead Room" (2018) (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9121906/reference/)

"The Tractate Middoth" (2013) (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3169754/reference/)

"Whistle and I'll Come to You" (2010) (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1795050/reference/)

"Number 13" (2006) (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0934533/reference/)

"A View From a Hill" (2005) (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt32145752/reference/)

So, are these all classed as separate TV movies on purpose, or do they need to merged with the TV episodes?

Note: This comment was created from a merged conversation originally titled A Ghost Story for Christmas (BBC, 2005-).

Hi @yusufpiskin & @Scott_A_D -

I'm following up to confirm that the standalone titles have now been merged as episodes into the main series title, A Ghost Story for Christmas.

Cheers!
