merging episode titles

There's a TV show where at least two episodes have double entries and I think should be merged together. I saw this link - https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/titles/how-can-i-merge-two-titles/GAL233TVTCPMLVDK# - but I wasn't sure if I did it right or if there's another page in the help section that I should be looking at. Number 3 talks about merging two separate shows and how you should merge episodes first before merging the parent page for the show. What if it's two episodes listed for the same season of the same show?
