mini bio declined

I'm trying to update my biography that was not originally written by me, to better reflect my current career. But the bio got declined for not meeting "contribution guidelines." I combed through the guidelines and thought the only relevant thing might be that I removed an (incorrectly) named birth city and replaced it with "American." Everything else is nearly exactly the same, with tweaks to just 2 of the 4 sentences. Can anyone tell me what might be the problem? Or if there's a way for me to get support directly?
