Solved

My television credit has been changed to a different season (that I didn't work on) - and IMDb won't let me change it back.

I was Director's Shadow on two episodes of 'Sanctuary: A Witch's Tale' season one. I added these credits in 2024 and they went through without problems. But for some reason, a few months ago my credits automatically changed to say 'season two' (which I didn't work on). I've made IMDb aware of the error and asked them to change it back, but this still hasn't been processed. I did submit the information change request a couple of times - which I'm aware I shouldn't have done - and I understand the duplicate requests being rejected, but now even the initial request (number #250323-192102-522000) is reading as rejected as well. Not sure what else I can do to get my credit accurately restored?

Hi SophieBlack7- Thank you for posting the submission reference number! Further reviewing, we can see that the submission made on December was for episodes #2.4 and #2.7 of this series (241206-113349-125000). You are welcome to re-submit the corrections however, I recommend to add supporting evidence to the contribution in order for our editors to verify the information. When submitting filmography credits, supporting evidence needs to be provided depending on whether if you are credited on-screen or not. Further detailed information and instructions on how to provide addtional evidence can be found on our following Help Guide. Specifically, I would take a look at 'The name is not listed in the end credits or the title is unreleased:' https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/contribution-information/how-can-i-submit-additional-verification-for-a-credit-submission/GN93ME9NVXHVE36E?ref_=helpms_helpart_inline#correction Cheers!

Hi Maya, thank you for the reply. I do have evidence of my involvement in the show, even though I was not credited for my work, so I will re-submit my request and attach that evidence. However I'm not sure why I can't just change my listing back to the correct details (I was initially credited on IMDb for Episodes 1.4 and 1.7, which is correct) when that had initially been accepted by IMDb without issue?

@SophieBlack7- You're welcome! Perfect, thank you! Our editors will review it once you re-submit it. As I mentioned above, we see that the first contribution which was done on December was for these credits and for episodes 2.4 and 2.7 therefore, in order for us to verify we ask for the supporting evidence that you can provide us.

Hi Maya, thank you for your reply. I've just gone back and checked that first submission, and this is very strange as it does now say 'series 2' - but when I first made the submission, series 2 of that show didn't exist so it would've only given me the option to select series 1... I'm not sure why it says otherwise now. I wonder if there's a glitch in the system which has changed my original submission. Obviously I have no way of proving this now! So hopefully the latest appeal will be processed without issue.

Thank you so much for sorting it. It means a lot to have my profile accurate when sending it out to potential employers. Thanks again!
