Objective Genre Correction Repeatedly Declined

Dear all - I'm taking to this forum to ask for guidance after a correction I've submitted has been repeatedly declined. I'm attempting to remove the genre classification 'Short' on the film Wavelength (1967). This film is 45 minutes long, according to both the info on its IMDb page and multiple independent sources I've provided for the film's runtime. IMDb's own rules therefore state that this objectively is not a short.

To cut and paste the text of my most recent attempt (#241214-160405-966000) to correct it:

"This movie is 45 minutes long, which means that by IMDb rules it does not qualify as a short. This is an objective genre category and not a matter of personal opinion. The genre classification 'Short' is therefore incorrect and needs to be deleted.

IMDb genre guidelines define a short as "Any theatrical film or made-for-video title with a running time of less than 45 minutes, i.e., 44 minutes or less, or any TV series or TV movie with a running time of less than 22 minutes, i.e. 21 minutes or less." This can be found here:

Can anybody offer any insight into why this has repeatedly been declined? It's frustrating because this seems quite black and white to me - if the movie is 45 minutes, then it's not a short, simple as that. (And if it's not 45 minutes, then the runtime on its page needs to be corrected anyway; but as shown above, I've supplied two independent online copies to show the 45-minute runtime.)
