Parent Guides: Way to overcrowded and wrong

I and many other utilize the IMDB parent guide often for checking the content of a film or video game. These guides are often useful but for some reason they can be overcrowded by content descriptors that are the same things just worded differently. A prime example of this is the parental guide for Manhunt 2 (2007). In the violence category only 2 maybe 3 content descriptors are necessary, but there is 11 content descriptors many of them mention things only present in the AO version of the game (NOT the version actually sold to the public). To me this feels very overcrowded and confusing as to what is truly in the game. Another good example for the Sex & Nudity category is Outlast (Video Game 2013). The parental guide contains many filler sentences such as "Outlast is a horrifying game that takes place in a mental facility with insane people." in the Sex & Nudity category. The same content descriptor also reiterates information already shared in another content descriptor "There is a enemy called the twins and its two naked male creatures". This isn't necessary when another content descriptor "There are two cannibalistic twins that want to murder you and they are completely naked with buttocks shown." Already exist. This game also suffers in the Profanity category as well with the 2 content descriptors "A lot of the profanity is not very noticeable." and "Most of the swears are not noticeable." literally next to each other. So anyways my point is I believe there should be a way to not exactly report a parents guide for these issues but a way to send in a revamp of it the same way you submit individual content descriptors. So you could go into the outlast Profanity section for example and press a button called "Revamp" (or something similar) and this brings you to a page where you make one or multiple descriptors to submit at once to replace what is currently present. Then of course the verifier would then check that the revamp is accurate and beneficial. This tool if utilized could help cleanup some of the parental guides making them more user friendly and a cleaner experience.

TLDR: Add a tool to revamp a entire content descriptor category at once (Profanity, Violence & Gore, etc.). This would be beneficial for cleaning up some parental guides that are currently confusing and overcrowded.

Hi @LincolnSmith1234 -

Thanks for your feedback and providing some good examples.

I've forwarded your comments to our Product team for visibility, I've also marked this post as an "Idea" thread so other community members can weigh in their thoughts and vote on the tooling feature you suggested.

In the meantime, if you encounter bad or repeating data within the Parent Guides, you are welcome to either Edit or Report the data as necessary.
