Please Allow Cancellation of Submitted Contributions

I have on a few occasions found I submitted a few contribution updates that were by error prematurely that I know can't be approved, and rather than waste Imdb staff's time reviewing it, I wish it was simply possible to cancel a pending submission. One I found out was based on erroneous wiki article, and another I simply hit the submit button prematurely. Why not provide a way to withdraw a pending submission before someone has to try to process it, only to have to reject it? Thanks.
