Podcast episode listings without any information—are they being added automatically by IMDb?

There are so many instances of podcast episode listings with no info other than a title. Are they being added by some automated process without manual intervention, or are contributors adding them but not bothering to include anything more than basic info?

Hi SmitheeScope- If these are added without any information, depending on the case, they could be duplicates or not, could also be abandoned titles or non-existing. However and in any case, if these are not correct, they can be reported for title deletions. If the title deletions are not available for them on the contribution form, the requests will have to be submitted through the contact form: https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/titles/title-corrections/G7J57QHX9CAN989N?ref_=helpsrall#deleting Cheers!

I believe some contributors are using bots to add them, it is not IMDb themselves doing it. That's why the pages are a mess/contain nothing but a title and date or are duplicates, and can include entries for clips and trailers that are not even real episodes, that's why some 3 year old podcasts already have over 2000 to 3000 episodes listed. They do a 3 hour podcast upload to all the usual sites and then cut it up into smaller chunks and upload those too on the same feeds, which the bots just pick up also. Not sure all those chunks are supposed to be allowed on the site but there's probably over a million entries for them and growing. On the plus side, it leaves the option of filling out all the missing data for anyone that wants to do it.

Ironically, there are some long running podcasts I wish I could do that with, but for non-spammy purposes.
