Solved

Podcast series changed names after the 4th season ended, how to transition to new name and show it as 5th season?

We have a podcast series named: "Leadership Realities" and put out shows for 4 seasons under that title. Now we have a new season that aired as "Leaders In the Spotlight". That change was made to line up with our company name "Kids In The Spotlight". How do I continue with this last season being the 5th season, but with the new podcast title?

Hi edbroaddus- You will have to indicate this by adding an alternative title (AKA) to the parent series with the respective attribute. In this case, (fifth season title). For more detailed information, you can review our following Alternative Titles Help Guide and in this section C look for #9 TV variants: https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/titles/alternate-titles-akas/GBFBWTQG2RLMHSUR?ref_=helpart_nav_8#attributes You can all see as an example how "American Horor Story" has listed their alternative titles for each season: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1844624/releaseinfo/?ref_=tt_dt_rdat Hope this helps! Cheers!

@edbroaddus In addition to @Maya's helpful advice above ... if you are saying that the podcast will now be known by the new title, then you can submit an alternative title using the attribute "imdb-display-title" as also described in section C of https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/titles/alternate-titles-akas/GBFBWTQG2RLMHSUR?ref_=helpart_nav_8#attributes -- this will change the main display title of the podcast in whatever countries you submit this AKA and the old original title will be shown underneath. This attribute is the first item in the menu when selecting an alternate title attribute. The most well-known example of this kind of re-titling is https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0076759/ which was originally released as "Star Wars" and only later retitled with the longer title by which it is known today. Hope this helps.
