In Progress

Political attacks that threaten those of us who make films.

Since yesterday, October 31, 2025, when a tweet on X called for a boycott of the film NOVIEMBRE, 2025, on IMDb https://www.imdb.com/es/title/tt18274520/reference/?ref_=mv_close over 100 people have given the film a 1-star rating. They are writing reviews from people who haven't seen it, using political rather than cinematic arguments to attack it. There are dangerous accusations against the production team, claiming the film is financed by guerrilla groups or the Colombian government. We would appreciate your help in intervening in this boycott. We never had problems with negative reviews before, but since yesterday, this is no longer about cinema. It's a political attack on the film that must be stopped because it puts the integrity of the crew in danger in the politically violent context in Colombia.

Hello, the account promoting the boycott has been suspended by X after numerous reports. We'd like to ask you to continue reviewing this case so that justice can be heard. We understand that some people may not like the film, and that's perfectly fine, but an attack of this nature must be investigated.
