Possible duplicate/fake profiles – “Phil Xander” and “Philip Rudnitzky” with suspicious short film credits
We discovered that Phil Xander (nm10450815) and Philip Rudnitzky (nm15493205) appear to be the same person based on their public Instagram profile(https://www.instagram.com/phil.xander/?hl=en), where both names are used together. However, on IMDb they currently have two separate pages. In addition, we have concerns about the page under “Phil Xander”. The page lists an unusually high number of short films, many of which have no posters or promotional materials, no clear release or festival records and extremely vague or repetitive descriptions. This pattern suggests these titles may not be legitimate productions, but rather inflated credits added to artificially boost a résumé. Normally, even small student or indie films would have at least some evidence (festival screening, official poster, social media presence). The lack of such across so many titles raises concerns about accuracy. It seems that: “Philip Rudnitzky” is likely the person’s real/legal name. “Phil Xander” is an alias/stage name. These pages may need to be merged, and the suspicious short films should be reviewed for legitimacy.
