Privacy rules and dead celebs, again

Charles Shyer died on December 27 and his year of birth is still not visible. So I submitted the following request to the Help Center to have the year 1941 displayed on his Name page:

Charles Shyer's year of birth is not shown (and it is not possible to add it via the usual form). Charles Shyer has just died, so the year should now be shown. It is 1941, as said on https://www.indiewire.com/news/obituary/charles-shyer-dead-1235080745/ ("Born on October 11, 1941, in Los Angeles, California, Shyer [...]").

But my request was denied with the given reason: "At the moment, the birth year Display for this Name Page (as well as other data information for this Name Page) is strictly controlled by his management / team therefore we are unable to modify the settings of this page, nor any of the self-verified items within it."

Why doesn't the IMDb get the control back once the person has died?
