Solved

Problem with a namesake

My name is Franck Boyer, and I'm having a problem with a namesake. Here's the IMDB profile I'm having trouble with: https://www.imdb.com/fr/name/nm1529938/ I've been a Producer and Lead Game Designer in the video game industry for 24 years. I was the Producer of Police Simulator: Patrol Officers, but I didn't work on the films "Pizza Blob" and "Kurt's Story." How do I fix this? I don't want to harm my namesake by removing his credits, but seeing this is very confusing, both for him and for me. Thank you in advance for your advice (even if I wanted to, I don't know how to remove credits from my IMDB profile that don't belong to me).

Hi Earthman- If this credits are not yours and were added to the wrong page for another Franck Boyer, you can move the respective credits to another page by submitting a correction. For further detailed information and instructions on how to move credits to another page, I encourage you to review our following Help Guide, specifically for 'APPROACH A: How to move credits': https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/filmography-credits/how-can-i-move-credits-to-another-page/GYZQEK7ACM9KCUNA?ref_=helpart_nav_16# Cheers!

Thanks Maya (my first name is Franck, by the way, not Frank, spelling do matters, in this topic ^^), but it's far from being this easy, since this namesake and myself have the same name... I'm not even the one who put my correct credit (when I was the Producer of "Police Simulator: Patrol Officers") on IMDB... I read the webpage you gave me the URL for, and it doesn't speak about namesakes, but different names... Could you help me out with this problem, Maya, please? Thanks in advance. Franck.

@Earthman-Your welcome! Apologies, typo mistake there. We have helped on moving the credits to another name page. However, please note that for further instances, on the Help Guide above for Approach A, you can submit the respective corrections to move the credits to another page and this will not harm your namesake nor the other person. This would just move the credits to another page without removing any information.

Many thanks, Maya (for now the page is still the same, I suppose the modification takes some time). Ok, I did submit the correction after I replied to your comment, by bad. Have a good day! :)
