Producer credit across 1000+ episodes

I've seen similar question posed, but none that cover my precise problem...

I worked as a segment producer on 1000+ episodes of a TV show, but I just noticed I'm only credited on my first and last.* Two episodes in total. It's possible it's always been this way and I haven't noticed until now, I'm not sure how often I've checked.

I'd really love the credit to reflect the work I did, but the help pages I've read tell me that I have to add each episode I worked on individually. That's quite a lot of entries! Is there really no way for me to do a bulk add, a "date x to date y" or "episode 1000 to episode 2000"?

I notice other producers on the show have over 2000 episodes credit to their name. I can't imagine they went through and added them individually! Is there a shortcut I don't know of? What's my best option here?

Thanks in advance.

*and it's not even my last any more, cos I ended up returning and working on a few hundred more

If the episodes are listed you can submit your credit from the series page and select the relevant episodes in the form. This is covered here:

One thing the help page does not say is that you cannot submit 1000 or more credits in one submission. I find that things tend to work more smoothly with smaller batches so you may find the batches of around 200 episodes have fewer problems.

If you are named in the on screen credits of the show then a screenshot of an example credit will help. If you are not named you will need to add the uncredited attribute and some other evidence. If you are sometimes named then to be accurate you should split the submissions to reflect that.

Fantastic, thank you so much Peter. I don't know if it's worked, but the submission went green and they're at least considering it.

And thank you too for the tip, Owen. It seems to have gone through. I'm doubtful every single episode is listed on there -- scanning through, I did notice a couple of dates missing. I'm not sure whose job it was to update imdb, but it doesn't appear to have been done with total diligence.

Unfortunately, the show didn't have on-screen credits. Or, annoyingly, credits on the website either! (Had mixed feelings about that one. The show received a lot abuse, so there were times I wasn't upset to be anonymous.) But in terms of proof, I have lots of photos of editors flipping me off because of what I'm asking them to turn around with just three hours to go until broadcast, so hopefully that will count for something...

The data in IMDb comes mainly from volunteer contributors. They may be people who were in the cast or crew, they may be fans of the show or they may be people who just like contributing. Studios or production companies may give one of their staff the job of contributing data but that is up to them.

Looking at the monthly and annual contributor leaderboards I think that most of the people listed there are fans of one sort or another.
