Solved

ratings and review option not appearing on movie's page

Hi, our feature film ART e FACT was publicly released in January 2025. It's only available to stream from our website. Is there any reason why the rating and review section is not appearing on the movies page? BTW - I have an IMDb Pro account. Thanks - robert

Robert: On your film's page at https://www.imdb.com/title/tt27642270/, there is no Release Date currently listed. Please submit a Release Date at https://www.imdb.com/title/tt27642270/releaseinfo/ to indicate the date when, and how this film was released (that is, streaming).

Once the Release Date is accepted, and since that date will have already passed, the film's page will be open for accepting ratings and reviews.

Good luck!

Hey thanks for that. I just did that and it works. Interesting, because I'd already done the same thing via IMDb Pro and it shows that it's released on that page. But obviously it's not connected with IMDb. Great problem solved :)

Robert: I'm glad the problem is solved. I would have checked out the film's page on IMDbPro if I had known beforehand. While not all the data from IMDbPro is supposed to be included on the free IMDb site -- or vice versa -- the data that is supposed to appear on both sites is supposed to be consistent between both sites.

@gromit82 / @robertiolini The IMDbPro and IMDb sites are built on the same database. What appears to have happened here is that this title has a production status of "Released" (which is displayed on the IMDbPro title page) but it had no actual release date listed on IMDb. It is the latter which is important for enabling ratings, as described on https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/track-movies-tv/ratings-faq/G67Y87TFYYP6TWAV

Hope this helps.
