Real film?

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt35887645/?ref_=sr_t_3 I find no evidence online of a 1888 film adaptation of Les Misérables. If real it would be the first fictional film and first book adaptation ever, but no one mentions it. The plot summary calls it a novel rather than an adaptation (but the novel was actually published earlier). It has a cast member who was still working in 2020. Either someone messed up the year or it's fake.
