Release date is incorrect, but my requests to update keep getting denied

Myself, my director/production partner, and distributor have all made requests to correct the release date of my film Kate Hugo: Murder After Mayhem, and all have been denied. What else do we need to do? Here is one of the contribution requests:

Yes, the date of September 11 2025 is incorrect. It should be Sunday September 7 2025.

Actually this was a free test screening, this was not the final cut of the film. We utilized the feedback we received in this test screening to make adjustments to the work in progress. The final version was not released until its premiere on February 6, 2026.

@EvonIsser So, that's the problem you have. You have to convince the IMDb editors that it was a 'work in progress' test screening and not the final film to remove that release date.

@EvonIsser That was meant in the way that this is the problem you have. (I'll rephrase my reply).

IMDb, won't change the release date unless you can prove it was a 'work in progress'.

If you can show it was a 'work in progress' then please post that link here so IMDb staff can see it and help you.

Please see:
