Solved

Remove 2 credits

I have requested for two credits to be taken off of my page, the requests were rejected. My representatives need these taken of and so do I, as the projects were released without my consent or a contract. Please remove these as soon as possible. The contribution number is #260422-003714-919000

Thank you.

I pay for this service and as a subscriber what is displayed on my page should be customizable within reason. These two projects are not legitimate on my page. I will stop paying for IMDBpro if they are not removed.

Hi hello1,

I have looked into this for you, and confirm that the correct processing decisions were made following verification of these credits.

As mentioned in our previous reply, it is our policy not to alter or delete any kind of correct/factual information or credit from our records. As such, these credits must remain on your IMDb name page and on the database.

Thank you for your understanding.

@hello1 To chime in and try to explain: IMDb is a database first, paid service second. There were a few cases when uncredited appearances were moved to "Self" category after it turned out that they were footage of a person filmed without permission, however it's impossible to remove a listing from a filmography, if you yourself confirm it is indeed you.

Needless to say filmmakers could and should be sued for the breach of the contract and consent, but to IMDb this is a released existing film with you in it. It works the other way around as well: people whose scenes were deleted and they're not in the credits are deleted from respective titles, unless deleted scenes were then released separately.
