Solved

Separating someone else's credits that accidentally got merged onto my account.

I have a hyphenated last name and somebody else's crew profile accidentally got merged with mine. IMDB claims that the persons alternative name is me, when it isn't. It's a completely different person. How can I remove or swap this person's credits over to a separate page so it's not lumped into my credits? I've been back and forth with IMDB support for day's and it's been no help whatsoever.

Hi hst851- If this credits are not yours and were incorrectly merged/added to your page, you can move the respective credits to another page by submitting a correction. For further detailed information and instructions on how to move credits to another page, I encourage you to review our following Help Guide: https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/filmography-credits/how-can-i-move-credits-to-another-page/GYZQEK7ACM9KCUNA?ref_=helpart_nav_16# Cheers!

@hst8517- Thank you for the information! As mentioned above, you can start by moving these credits to a new page for Ian Mosley by following the instructions on how to move credits to another page on the guide linked above. Once the credits are moved, all of the information that belongs to Ian Mosley will be moved including any mentions (as Ian Mosley).

Thank You. I submitted corrections with the explanation - "This is a somebody else's credit. I didn't work on this project Should be moved to this page - https://www.imdb.com/name/nm7688019/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_4_tt_2_nm_6_in_0_q_ian%2520mosley" Please let me know if you have any update on the status of this. Trying to get it fixed as soon as possible.
