Puss In Boots became a franchise by having the 2022 sequel, DreamWorks Animation don't do straight to video/dvd films, and only 2 Dreamworks Animation films released in July.

Submission has been taken out until whoever keeps changing what is supposed to say this has turned away from the page: "[link=tt8115900] is DreamWorks Animation's tenth film to become a franchise, after [link=tt0126029], [link=tt0351283], [link=tt0441773], [link=tt0892769], [link=tt1679335], [link=tt0481499], [link=tt3874544], [link=tt0166813], and [link=tt0448694]. This does not include those that only became a franchise through either tv spinoffs, short films, or both of such, same said with [link=tt0120630] and [link=tt0312004] due to the follow ups to those films not being from DreamWorks Animation."
