Spoilers in cast name for Severance

If the credits don't include the character name, you should cite that fact. You may be able to get the character name changed as IMDb does have a guideline to avoid spoilers in character names. If you edit it yourself, it is simplest to do from the actor's page as you need to edit data for multiple episodes.

I don't have AppleTV and can't double-check, but I believe SEVERANCE will introduce certain characters with vague names in the credits, but then give them fuller character names in the credits of later episodes. For instance, I'm pretty sure Robby Benson's first episode credited him simply as "Doctor" on screen, but then in a later episode gave him the character name of "Dr. Mauer." IMDb's page for his first episode originally listed him as "Doctor," but a contributor retroactively changed it to "Dr. Mauer" after his full character name was revealed. Again, I don't have access to the show, but I suspect Robby Benson should be listed as "Doctor" in his first episode and as "Dr. Mauer" in his subsequent two episodes. I also suspect Britt Lower should have a vaguer character name in early episodes and her full character name of "Helly R" in later ones.

I can confirm the cast credits for this title have been amended to reflect how the characters are most commonly referred to in the majority of the title's episodes. We have taken this decision as there are no on-screen cast credits for this title, which is often the case for most TV series. I have also filed a ticket (ref. #35123) to have specific guidelines for TV cast credits relating to spoilers be documented in our relevant Help guides. I hope this helps!
