Submitted 6 months of time cards with a title and still denied to change

Hi… I submitted months of time cards with a title that is not what is listed on IMDb. How else can you get a title corrected? Months of time cards with the title submitted and denied. What else is one to do? My current title is a disgrace to the position I had

Hi palmtreesab- In order for our staff to review, can you post examples of this contributions by providing us with the 18-digit submission reference number? Cheers!

Hi palmtreesab, Thank you for the submission reference. I can see that this credit correction was appropriately declined, as we list credits on IMDb as per the on-screen credits, which I have verified having you listed on-screen with the role you are currently credited with on IMDb. This is per our guidelines, which can be found below. https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/contribution-information/how-can-i-submit-additional-verification-for-a-credit-submission/GN93ME9NVXHVE36E? I hope this helps!

But they get those wrong. I have others also gotten wrong. As you can see… I was never paid as that position. So if you aren’t going to change it, then please delete it altogether as it is a huge slap in the face for this to happen and a discredit to my public resume. I have submitted so much proof with my title. I even have call sheets if you need! I cannot control end credits 🤬

I will continue to talk to my lawyer as this is completely wrong and there is no where on any paycheck or call sheet I was titled this and I have all the proof. I’ve been trying to follow the protocols with submitting evidence and I’m sick of it always being denied.

Even uncredited is better than a completely wrong title altogether

Hi palmtreesab, As previously stated, IMDb records credits as they appear on-screen as a general policy that applies to all credits, regardless of what is printed on call sheets or invoices. We also do not remove information from the database per our aim to be the most complete and reliable source of movie, TV, and entertainment information on the web. This also means we cannot amend your credit to be listed in any other way as it does appear on-screen for this title. Thank you for your understanding.

I should be able to delete a credit that is incorrect. It’s my page and I should have the right to delete something that is not right. If you can’t change it, fine. But then please delete it altogether

Hi palmtreesab, As mentioned in our previous reply, it is our policy not to alter or delete any kind of correct/factual information or credit from our records. Thanks!
