Why is a correction "declined" when the reason provides the specific IMDb Guidelines that prompted the correction. The reason for not accepting the correction is a generic statement to "see the submission guidelines". The Guidelines specifically say to write only in 3rd person and also provide the specific format for Time Stamps.

Well, I don't recall the specific item that prompted me to write this comment. However, it's a common occurrence that whenever a correction is declined, the suggestion is to review the Guidelines, of which there are hundreds, if not thousands. It doesn't help submitters get better. However, here is another declined item that I submitted that I think should be accepted: #250827-030301-390000. The Guideline say Time Stamps "must adhere to strict rules" - I corrected an item that had a general description of a time stamp to conform to the "strict rules", yet it was declined.
