Suspicious Mass Spam Reviews on The Unrestricted War

I would like to report a wave of suspicious reviews on the film The Unrestricted War. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt32654745/ratings/?ref_=tt_ov_rat All of these negative reviews appeared within a short time window (Aug 18–20, 2025). The accounts leaving these reviews were newly created on the same day. Each account has only one activity: rating and reviewing this single film. They have no other history of contributions on IMDb. The review content is often repetitive and formulaic, with similar language and phrasing, strongly suggesting coordinated posting. The behavior pattern indicates inauthentic activity (“review bombing” by spam/bot accounts) rather than genuine audience feedback. This violates IMDb’s community guidelines regarding authentic reviews. I kindly request the IMDb team to investigate these accounts and remove the suspicious reviews to ensure the integrity and fairness of the platform. Thank you for your attention and support in keeping IMDb reliable for all users.

Hi Maya, Thank you so much for your quick response and for taking further action on the title. We really appreciate the IMDb team’s support in keeping the platform fair and authentic. One follow-up request: while most of the suspicious text reviews have been removed, it looks like the star ratings from those same newly created accounts are still included in the title’s weighted average, which keeps the score around 3.9. Since the related reviews were deemed inauthentic, could your team exclude the associated ratings from the calculation as well (or otherwise reprocess the rating to remove those votes)? For your reference, the pattern we observed: -Reviews and ratings clustered on Sept 18–20 -Newly created accounts with no prior history -Single-title activity (only rated/reviewed this film) Thanks again for your help! Best regards, Yetta
