Suspicious ratings for Djinn Wedding (2026) before its release in Turkey

Could IMDb please check the recent voting activity for Djinn Wedding (2026)?

The film has so far been screened only at three international film festivals: Toronto, Haifa and Rio. It hasn't even had its Turkish premiere yet. That will take place at the Antalya Film Festival later this month, and the cinema release in Turkey is scheduled for November 6.
However, during the last day I noticed a sudden increase in very low ratings from Turkey.
On October 12, there were 33 votes from Turkey, including 12 ratings of 1/10 and none of 2/10.
Today, October 13, there are already 103 votes from Turkey, including 29 ratings of 1/10 and 22 ratings of 2/10.
That's 70 new votes in such a short time, with 39 of them giving the film only 1 or 2 points.
Considering that the film hasn't been released or publicly screened in Turkey yet, I find this voting pattern very suspicious.
I understand that IMDb has a weighted rating system, but I would appreciate it if you could investigate whether these votes are genuine or part of an attempt to manipulate the rating.

I am Ferit Karahan, the director of Djinn Wedding (Cinlerin Düğünü), which had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2026.
We have noticed a concerning pattern of unusually low ratings associated with accounts registered in Turkey, despite the film not having been commercially released in that territory nor a Festival.
We fully respect the right of every viewer to express their opinion, including negative ones. However, the geographical concentration and nature of these ratings raise concerns about possible coordinated voting activity rather than genuine audience response.
We kindly request that IMDb investigate the voting patterns associated with our film and determine whether any measures are necessary to protect the integrity of its rating.
We are not requesting the removal of legitimate negative ratings. Our only concern is ensuring that the film's rating reflects authentic audience engagement.
