The Circular Clusterf$#k Between Amazon Prime Video Direct and IMDB - Please Help
Last year, after 3 years of production, I finished a 5-part reality series and uploaded it to Amazon Prime Video Direct. There were some closed-captioning errors on some of the episodes and I was told they needed correcting. I made the corrections and attempted to re-upload them. After a few weeks, I received a message stating that some of the titles were already live and uploaded previously by another party and I would have to verify my ownership of them via IMDB. I am the sole owner/producer of the series and no one else has them, so it is quite impossible for anyone but me to have ownership of them. Of course, there is no one you can talk to at either Amazon or IMDB (how convenient for them), and one is just as bad as the other when it comes to trying to get any help or questions answered. It has been nearly a year now, and I still can't get any help. Is there anyone with a functioning brain that has been able to resolve a similar issue? I'm nearly at my wits end and ready to give up. The only reason I don't is that I am quite sure that is EXACTLY what they want me to do. Any help would be appreciated.
