'The Contract' work in progress screening

'The Contract' ( https://www.imdb.com/title/tt31576204/ ) is now listed as 'filming', despite it already having had a screening at the Cairo Film festival in 2024 (see https://variety.com/2024/film/news/kevin-spacey-the-contract-trailer-devil-premiere-1236207823/ ). I tried to change it back to (2024) due to the previous screening in november 2024 but this release is now listed as 'work-in-progress' on IMDB. I've not been able to find any source at the time of the screening that this was said to be a work in progress screening. It seems this has retroactively been applied to it, but I thought it was only allowed to be a work in progress screening on IMDB if it was clearly announced at the time of the screening. Or was a source that it was announced to be a work in progress screening supplied to IMDB when this was edited?
