The workplace of some IMDb editors is "factually incorrect"
Submission #250724-205951-985000 was declined as "Factually incorrect" for the part where Animation genre was added to the music video Madonna: Get Together (European Version) [tt6674194]. How it can be "Factually incorrect" for the entirely animated video [see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zqZnarJQ-E supplied with the submission]? If the above-mentioned [tt6674194] is not Animation, then why this genre is added to the other films where similar techniques of animation is used, for example: - A Scanner Darkly (2006) [tt0405296], - Waking Life (2001) [tt0243017], - Undone (2019–2022) [tt8101850]... It looks like those editors are professional in creating unreasonable attacks on contributors' trust level, rather than in operating the definitions. The same "Factually incorrect" was also used against my submission #250709-080149-516000 for the part where Thriller genre was added. The decline itself is not appealed here. But why "Factually incorrect"? Thriller is a subjective genre [https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/titles/genres/GZDRMS6R742JRGAG#thriller], it is not defined representing facts. In this case, "Factually incorrect" can be used only by an editor who is unable to comprehend the IMDb guidelines, either cannot stop ruining a contributor's trust level.
