Theatre Credits & Editing Additional Credits

Currently, my Theatre credits can only appear on IMDB Pro and only under Additional Credits.  My Theatre credits are very, very important to me, and are an integral part of my career, skill set, and what I'm known for as an actor.  My questions are these:

  1. Why can't I have my Theatre credits appear on the regular, non-Pro IMDB?  They a HUGE part of who I am as an actor and something the general public should know about.
  2. Why do I have to have my Theatre credits lumped under "Additional Credits" rather than having a dedicated and prominent Theatre section with its own heading in both IMDB and IMDB Pro?
  3. If it's the case -- and I really, REALLY hope it isn't -- that the ONLY way to list my Theatre credits is under "Additional Credits," what I would like to do is get rid of all my Film/TV Credits in that Additional Credits category since they all automatically appear above that in IMDB's automatic listing of those credits, so that my Theatre Credits can be at least a little more prominently displayed.  But right now I am not being allowed to "edit" those Film/TV credits in "Additional Credits" so that I can delete them.

I really HATE that my Theatre credits, which I was able to list in their own category in the old IMDb Pro Version, are being minimized and relegated to being unimportant afterthoughts in this new version.  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS.  If somebody Googles me, my IMDb listing shows up right at the top of the search results.  If they're not getting from that listing that Theatre is a big part of what I do, they're getting a very skewed, incomplete, inaccurate picture of who I am as an actor.

Hi JJSwetlow_77-

Thank you for the feedback! Will pass this along to the relevant team for visibility.

As per our guides, these self-verified credits will only show on IMDbPro and under Additional Credits. Also, will note that as displayed this will appear under the verified credits only (film, TV, video...).

For further detailed information, you can review our following Help Guide.

In regards to the deletion of credits, our aim is to be the most complete and reliable source of movie, TV, and entertainment information on the web. In order to continue offering our users an accurate and trustworthy service, it is our policy not to alter or delete any kind of correct/factual information from our records.

Cheers!

But shouldn't I be able to delete the "self verified" credits from Additional Credits?  They are exactly the same credits as the automatically generated ones in my official Credits section, though when I was able to do something resembling a complete resume in the old version of IMDB Pro, I included things like the director and billing.  But since I can't do a "resume" of credits anymore like I could in the old version that allowed me to feature my theatre credits much more prominently, and allowed ALL of my Additional Credits to be displayed in a format that was clear, comprehensive and communicated the information I wanted communicated in the ways I wanted it communicated, I would rather lose the director and billing options THAT I ADDED AND ARE SELF-VERIFIED, delete what are in effect essentially duplicate Film/TV credits that appear automatically in my the official Credits section, and thereby have my theatre credits more prominently displayed.  And yet when I try to delete them I get

"This is unexpected
We apologize, we’re having issues on our end. Try again later."
I can delete/edit my Theatre Credits in Additional Credits so why can't I delete or edit my SELF VERIFIED Film and TV Credits in Additional Credits?  I ADDED THEM.  They no longer serve the purpose for which I added them.  They are all accounted for in my official Credits that you all compile.  I should be able to delete them.  Removing them does not detract in any way from your "accurate and trustworthy service" that appears elsewhere on my page.  Since they are SELF VERIFIED, for all you know, I lied about them and they could just as easily be completely inaccurate.
But WAY more important than any of that is the way this new IMDB version does not meet my needs as an actor and is absolutely NOT an improvement over the old version.  Beyond the official Credits section that you all compile, it gives me way less control over how I present myself and what appears on my page.  It was WAY, WAY, WAY BETTER BEFORE.  Please hear what I'm saying and at least discuss it with whoever makes decisions about this stuff.  There's no reason the new format can't be changed, corrected, and improved.

Hi JJSwetlow_77 - We appreciate you sharing the concerns about the display of theater credits and we will highlight your use case as we work on making improvements.

Thank you as well for highlighting the issue with managing the past Film and TV credits. This does not appear specifically related to the refresh, as IMDbPro separately removed the ability to add Film and TV credits in Additional Credits some time ago. We will flag this to the right team to investigate and fix so that past Additional credits can be properly managed.
