This should be a theatrical serial, not a TV series
I'm talkin' 'bout Commando Cody: Sky Marshal of the Universe:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0045382/
This is a "Republic Picture," as labeled on the poster, a 12 chapter serial, a sequel to another Republic serial: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0045382/movieconnections/#follows
And each chapter has its own theatrical poster.
In conclusion, its current classification as a "TV series" makes no sense, and it should be classified as a serial, i.e., as a normal movie divided into chapters like any other Republic serial.

Hi @Tonio_Fraga -
I'm following up to confirm that the duplicate series title has now been merged to the film page. Cheers!

Trivia

This was originally filmed as a TV series,
but contractual obligations forced Republic Pictures
to give a theatrical release
before allowing it to be broadcast on TV.
Because episodes don't end in "cliffhangers",
some serial "purists" refuse to accept it into the serial canon....

Hi @Tonio_Fraga & All -
If I am understanding the issue correctly, the title was initially filmed as a TV-series but due to complications was changed to a film release. Is it correct that the first release was a standalone theatrical film version in 1953, and then later released as a serial film in 1955 with chapters consecutively screened? Or was this originally screened as a serial film?
I'm trying to determine whether there should be two separate listings or whether there should be a single title listing with the 'Serial" keyword and episodes removed.
