Title delete request

If it was screened and you then made changes to the film, the question would rather be whether the new version is different enough to be listed separately.

Again, it was the trailer. It doesn't state feature on the link you have sent us. It's breach of policy to hold our data on our website, if it has been requested to be removed. Thanks

@Michelle​ Hi Michelle, the feature film (2018) wasn't screened at the festival as it wasn't completed until recently. You will find no proof online of this film being available to watch. I have documented proof from the festival confirming it was only the trailer shown, along with a Q&A session and from post production studios confirming the completion of the film, only this month. I have legal proof of this information. The 2018 page holds the incorrect date, along with photos and old posters, which we'd like to be removed. Speaking on behalf of the production team. We cannot verify information based on e-mail correspondence.  With that being said, given our sources, we believe that the film was an official selection and finalist film at the festival, which warrants a valid release, as such we will need to retain the title listing.

@mbmb​ Hi Michelle I don't understand why this is getting so difficult. 

1. It's our film and we as a team are confirming the information is not accurate hence we are asking this information to be changed. As the film was never completed in 2018. We can present multiple emails , evidence to prove this.

2. CIFF as a festival has also confirmed this that the film was not screened. This is not even the actual length of the film. Our film actually never screened at the festival. You can validate this information from CIFF your self . This is their email info@theciff.co.uk

3. Most importantly we are the owner of the film and we do not give permission to IMDB to hold incorrect information of our festival.

From this information can you guaranteed say that our film was actually screened as the next step for us  would be take this forward legally as we have written evidence that we have given IMDB enough opportunity to rectify the record they hold. 

Holding such wrong information can cost the producers a financial loss for which IMDB will be held accountable.

So once again I request you to delete IOTD 2018 page.

Hi Michelle, please contact the festival to rectify this problem since you will not accept documents sent from production. I would also like to know, why it is so easy to add information to IMDb WITHOUT proof, dates, actors, crew etc and then, very difficult to remove information WITH proof. We have an actor on this page who wasn't even in the film and a date added without being consented first. Anything like this (from a legal front) should come with a request for signed contracts, or concrete proof of the change signed off by a producer etc. It is illegal to have information added to a production which in turn can damage and ruin the status of a film, along with personal damages to actors/crew members as I have seen in many other posts on here with similar requests. Please advise on the above. Many thanks!
