Title in Russian

The title of my movie I wish to add is in Russian "Рюкзак". When I try to add this title, I receive reply: The Unicode character\s U+0420 U+044E U+043A U+0437 U+0430 [Р ю к з а] not supported What does it mean and how can I correct it?

Freddy: The *main* title of all films listed on IMDb is required to be in the roman alphabet, specifically the ISO-Latin-1 character set. Since your film is titled in Cyrillic characters, you will have to transliterate the title into Latin characters to submit it as a new title to IMDb. The transliteration table for Russian can be found at https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/other-submission-guides/russian-names-titles/GX27PHHMYTYEJZDT# . From what I can find, it appears that the title of your film would be transliterated as "Ryukzak". As part of your data submission, though, you should be able to submit an Alternate Title. In the Alternate Title section, you should be able to submit Рюкзак to be the title for Russia with the attribute (original script title). (Russian-alphabet titles are accepted in the Alternate Title section of IMDb, just not as the main title for a film.) I hope this helps. Good luck!
