Solved

Trivia section of an actor lifted entirely from my blog

All info in the trivia section of actor David Baxt comes from original research I conducted and posted on my blog. I've asked IMDb to cite the source through the proper channel and IMDb declined even though it seems to violate this clause of its submission policy:

"Do not copy entries from other publications, either offline (books etc) or online (Wikipedia etc.)."

I'm 100% certain the Baxt trivia section was blank up until my post because when researching FOR my post, I, of course, first checked IMDb - and found nothing. Then I spent time tracking down Baxt's family, and when I found them, I interviewed them and posted the info on my blog.

This info is not available anywhere else online.

I'm not asking IMDb to remove any info, simply credit the single source.

Why is this being declined?

I don't know what was submitted, but would it not be allowed to add something like "According to the Noblemania blog..." to one of the items?
