Solved

trouble adding english version additional voices credit

I need help, Adding cast contribution for English dubbing was declined because does not meet submission guidelines, but I submitted as I have many before. I sent in screen grabs from end credits which show as Additional Voices for English version.

contribution confirmation #250102-052234-343000

On a side note. I voiced the character of "Park Seon-jang, captain" but was screen credited as additional voices. I did read that only what is listed would be credited...

What did I miss in submission guidelines?

Hi @imdbforum,

Thank you for your problem report.

From the above submission reference, I can see that your credit addition attempt was correctly declined. This is because these credits are not eligible per our Voice cast guidelines:

Must not be a dubbing* - Their work must be featured in the original language version of the production. (* We do allow dubbing for animated titles & video games on the USA English-language release only.)

Any previously approved similar credits listed on your IMDb page that are not animated titles or video games in the USA language-release only, have now been removed in accordance with these guidelines. These credits were previously approved in error, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by this error.

Thank you for your understanding.

@Ozzy I am confused because most of the English voice dubbing cast  is listed in the Squid Game pages. Some are credited as a character, some as a character and English version, and others (like me, and listed on the credit page I am listed on) Additional Voices, English Version.

@imdbforum Hi-

As Ozzy explained above, this credit addition is ineligible. We don't list credits for English dubbing for non-animated titles (displaying after the end credit role and not in the actual title credits themselves) which also breaches our policy.

You can still add this credited work, however, and as per our guides: "These details may be added to the other works biography section, or alternatively IMDbPro members can add these to the additional credits section of the name page. Some common acting categories such as "Special Skills" may fall into the "Trivia" section of a biography."

Further detailed information can be found on this other Help Guide as well.

Cheers!
