Trying to perform a title merge, but I'm having problems

I'm trying to perform a title merge on a duplicate entry, but one of the entries has an incorrect release year in the title. It's not letting me request the title merge because "The year in the new title must match the year in the old title." For reference: The title being merged: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt21821200 The title it will be merged into (aka the title that will remain after the merge): https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0860907 The former is only an updated reissue of the latter that has additional scenes and edits. I already added a correct release date to the former, thinking it'd fix the incorrect release year in the title, but it didn't. Any suggestions?
