Umlaut display issue in Contribution History
There seems to be a letter display malfunction in the contribution history when it comes to mutated vowels or, as we know them, umlauts.
ä, ö and ü
I will add a screenshot at the bottom that makes it easier to understand.
There is an ö in the episode title which is displayed correctly. However, the ä in the series title got turned back into html format.
So there's two possibilities:
1) The problem is with the series title in general and an ö in there would also be displayed through html.
or
2) The issue is with the specific umlaut ä in general and that one would also be displayed incorrectly in the episode title.
My humble guess is 1).
Can you check up on that, imdb staff?
And also maybe some other users have submitted contributions that included for example the letter ß or the å pretty common in Sweden and can say if there's display errors with these too in the contribution section.

Thank you for providing the information and the screenshot! I was able to replicate this from my end, however, I am not getting this display error on the contribution section.
Do you have more examples or if you can confirm if you are still seeing the display as such from your end?

That s strange. Could it be a browser issue just on my end? Yes I am still seeing it this way like in my screenshot. I scrolled down and found a movie title that includes the letter ö. This one is shown correctly though.
