Unable to Delete Redundant Credits

Lately, I seem to be unable to delete credits which are redundant across multiple sections. I'm certain I used to have no problem doing this. Listed below are examples from 3 different TV series where I attempted the same deletion. All were declined even with screenshots included:

#250129-070813-495000
#250129-070627-905000

Has there been some policy change where this is no longer valid?

Hi @paul_branham,

Thank you for reporting this.

I can see from your submission references that you're attempting to delete credits, having already added the correctly credited department for these exact credits based on the evidence provided, causing the duplicate credit listing(s). Subsequent delete requests will then have activated internal measures, preventing the approval of deletion requests for these particular credits. We have therefore taken action to remove the new credit additions, and then manually correct the department of the previous existing credit, in order to retain this same level of protection on these credits. These updates will appear live on the site shortly.

For future reference, this is the correct process to follow. Please submit corrections to any such credits, and not additions and then deletions. This will help our processing team, and yourself in having your contributions approved.

Is there a way to correct the department that a credit is in? That would be great if there is...

The only way to correct the department is by submitting a deletion request and then re-submitting the credit as a new contribution but with the respective corrections.

So when I re-submit the new credit, should I wait for the original deletion request to be approved or should I do so immediately?

You can submit it immediately after submitting the deletion request and on both submissions you can put the explanation of the correction that is being done.
