Unable to remove inaccurate credits

All that showed up at the link was a prompt to "load previous update" and a notification that "no previous updates were found". I tried going through the instructions...it's ridiculously complicated.

The credits can be requested to be deleted using the online Update Form, you can include an explanation why you are removing the credits, could be credits for someone with a similar name. I'm trying to delete but I have no idea if the requests are actually going through. The interface is AWFUL.

There are a few actors on IMDB with the same name but none of these are acting credits, they're all in the same field I'm in and I've never come across anyone with my name in the 30 plus years I've been active. Seems that someone is just randomly adding credits to my page with no rhyme or reason. There are around a hundred; I can't believe there's no support to remove these other than me having to make separate requests for every single one.

What is your name page? Can't help if we don't know where to start. Which credits are yours and which are not?

Are you an admin or something? As I said, there are close to a hundred that aren't mine. If that's something you can actually address, I'm happy to take the time to screenshot and indicate what they are for you, but if you're just offering general advice, it's a lot of trouble to go through. I'm not offering advice. I'm offering to help. If you tell us which ones aren't yourself we may be able to figure out if they belong to a specific person or should just be deleted. At the very least a new name page for a Peter Ramsey can be created to get them off your page and we can then take our time to figure things out.

I suggest starting with a per department summary. For each department listed on your page are the credits all yours, some yours or none yours. If there is a department where none of the credits are yours then the name split option is probably the simplest way to deal with that. A few examples might help too. It will be easier to move the incorrect credits elsewhere if a common pattern can be identified, but that requires some data.

Hey Ben, I really don't mean to be rude or dismissive, I really do appreciate the help -- it's just that it's frustrating and a little daunting. There are so many phony credits that it's far easier to point out the real ones...I've been trying to go through the process of deleting the fake ones on the form but I can't tell if that's working or not, due to the interface being really unclear. I'm also curious to know how this huge volume of fake entries even got here -- is there any way to track or identify who else would have made these changes other than me?

I'd like to show you the volume of fake credits; it'd be much easier in a screen shot than for me to sit here and try to list them. There are over a hundred total.

It feels like something that actual people who run this site should be taking care of, but it's very hard to see how to reach anyone for real help.

Puss in Boots and Monsters vs Aliens are correct. On Dracula and Boyz n the Hood I was a Storyboard Artist, not a Production Assistant. The bottom two are correct, but those projects are inactive right now, so you can leave those out. Thank you!

OK I will try to add Mandalorian and Gorge. Hulk and Almost an Angel. Holy crap all the others will be deleted. You weren't kidding about having a lot of credits to delete. :)
