Unable to remove old poster

Hi,

I've added a new film poster to my project, but am having a problem removing the old one. I tried to report it and gave the explanation, but that was 3 days ago and still no removal. Is there another method I should use?

if you added it originally, go to photos and click on the photo(s) there. navigate to the one you want to be the poster and click on it. when large image is shown click away any menu overlay and see if you have the pencil/edit icon at the bottom. If so, click it and 'suggest' it be used for primary image (be sure to enter reason).

That's how you remove an old poster? Uh, seems that's how you make a primary image.

any image added has a drop down list of what the image portrays. poster, still frame capture, press release images, all can be available. As a contributor you can suggest one to be shown as the main image. As a user, I prefer a nice poster with title as main image. Selecting main image is as above. If you like, supply a link so any interested can see the photos.

On IMDb Pro? Here's the link if so: https://pro.imdb.com/title/tt21229168/?rf=cons_tt_atf_allow&ref_=cons_tt_atf_allow

I want to remove images #2 and #5.

Thanks.

go to https://www.imdb.com/title/tt21229168/mediaviewer/rm3878306049/ (off pro site). be sure you log in if not already logged in. are you able to see the photos, able to select one, able to select edit 'pencil' icon

I'm just a contributor so can't remove your uploaded posters. but when the same ID is logged in, you should be able to remove like you can change the linked names to the images (if any).

Ok, I think I got there but I don't see where I can remove the image anywhere. I can only "X" out "Appears in Image" and "Related Titles."

I appreciate your help but how do I talk to an admin or do a trouble ticket?

I want to remove old images and thought I could do that by reporting them then clicking on the reason. But it's been 4 days and the images are still up. It's letting me add images though. I'd like to remove images 2, 6, and 7 https://www.imdb.com/title/tt21229168/mediaviewer/rm3878306049/

Hi @TheRealIanKane -

I have deleted the image for you, in this case deleted because it had a watermark. Keep in mind we don't delete images unless they are in breach of our policies, even if they are old.

Cheers!

Hi Bethanny!

I was trying to contact you earlier but didn't see a way to.

We have an actor who we mutually don't want to be shown on the poster, in this case 6 out of 6. Is there anyway it can be deleted? This is in a legal sense.

Thanks,

Ian

Hello TheRealIanKane,

You can try updating the Poster, you can find instructions in our Help article. However, as mentioned by Bethanny, we don't delete images unless they are in breach of our policies.
