Uploading files to IMDb

Does anyone have a preferred method for uploading files (with evidence to verify data submissions) to IMDb? I've achieved this once, with much toil and blind alleys, but the process was so traumatic I can't even remember how I managed it.

What's the fastest and most efficient method for attaching files to your submission? All advice gratefully received.
