User review submission still pending after over 36 hours

#250321-150231-685921 Never had this happen before. It's short and compliant with all guidelines. Thanks for your time. EDIT: review text added Summary: Grateful to see the curtains close on this season () This episode felt like a microcosm of much of what disappointed me about S2, including but not limited to: -- setting up obstacles with little character significance to generate empty tension between plot points (i.e. The bathroom imprisonment of Milchick; the Drummond showdown in which he dies the flat, cartoon villain) -- having characters act outside of their intrinsic motivation for reasons of plot (i.e. Helly R. Awkwardly holding off on killing Jame; innie Dylan accepting his outie's rejection of his resignation; Mark seeming to forget all the trauma around Helly/Helena's betrayal) -- introducing magical one-off characters (Christie's Lorne from mammalians nuturable) to solve plot problems while blunting or (ironically) erasing character agency in the process (*cough* Reghabi appearing out of thin air in ep. 3 *cough*) -- allowing seemingly complex, high-stakes plot icebergs like Cold Harbor to disintegrate under the lightest dramatic scrutiny (also see: Mark's reintegration) () S2's writing has cratered my expectations for anything to come, so I'm treating this as a series finale. Glad to see so many have enjoyed it, and also that so many wonderful craftsmen have hopefully paid the bills and/or scored new gigs with their work here - especially Jessica Lee Gagné and her crew (stellar work).
