Welcome to Mooseport/"self" credit getting rejected for fictional movie

For Welcome to Mooseport (tt0361925), a fictional movie, Chi Chi Rodriguez is listed as "self", although this is an acting role.

Several times, I have attempted to change his character name from "self" to his name.  But it keeps getting rejected.

I've sent in hundreds of similar corrections that have been accepted. Played self in fictional movie, this is to move into acting credits. Per https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/filmography-credits/cast-acting-credits-guidelines/GH3JZC74FVYKKFMD#self - "Where someone is billed in the credits as themselves in a fictional piece and are playing a scripted, fictional version of themselves, we use the performer's name as the character name to avoid moving the credit to the 'Self' category."

Hi @shakla99 -

Can you provide your 18-digit submission reference so we can check on it?

Thanks!

@shakla99 Hi! In this case no evidence was sent to proof your change, please resubmit with evidence for our editors to review.

Cheers!

I have sent hundreds of similar submissions where someone is playing themselves in fictional movies or TV series.  They are nearly always accepted without any evidence.  Since the on-screen credits would say "self", a screenshot wouldn't help as it goes against the IMDB guideline.

Hello shakla99,

In that case, since in the onscreen credits appears as "self", the correction is incorrect, as we mention in our Cast/acting Guidelines

@Fran This would fall into the 2nd half of - https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/filmography-credits/cast-acting-credits-guidelines/GH3JZC74FVYKKFMD#self - as Chi-Chi Rodriguez was playing a fictional version of himself in a scripted movie.

This was fixed recently.
