Solved

what is taking so long for my credit to be processed?

Submitted a credit Dec. 30 and as of today (Jan. 21st) it still isn't on my page.

Hi @LvR,

Thank you for your problem report.

Please refer to your Contribution History to check the status of the relevant submission. If your credit addition has been declined, you may need to provide more evidence to support your contribution. You can find more information on the relevant evidence you may need in our Help guide.

I hope this helps!

Submitted but forgot to add proof.   Re-submitted the same day (Dec. 30) with proof.  The re-submission was denied because it was a "duplicate".  The first submission was then denied because there was no proof.  'Effing idiocy.  That's why I'm canceling my IMDb pro!

Hi @LvR,

Thank you for your response. I have now been able to identify the submissions you're referring to, and apologize for any inconvenience for what I can confirm was a processing error, which I have reported for review and training.

I have also re-submitted your credit on your behalf and seen that it has been approved, this update will appear live on your IMDb page shortly. We do hope that this error does not lead to you cancelling your IMDbPro membership.

Cheers!

Well, I had already re-submitted it this morning 1/22/25 and with your re-submission I now have two confirmation emails.  Does this mean it will be rejected again for being a duplicate?!

Hi @LvR,

No, I can see that the credit is now live on your IMDb page, so there's nothing to worry about there. I do apologize for the duplicate submission being sent on your behalf, it looks as though they weren't too far apart in time, with you beating us to the re-submission by a few minutes!

Apologies again for any inconvenience caused, and please let us know if I can be of any further assistance.

Thanks!
